8/21/2012 - Brig. Gen. Joseph Guastella, 455th Air Expeditionary Wing commander, peers out the side door of a U.S. Air Force HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter during a training mission with pararescue jumpers and combat rescue officers assigned to the 83rd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Aug. 18, 2012. Guastella took part in a nearly two hour training mission with PJs and CROs of the 83 ERQS, also known as the “Pedros,” to see firsthand how they contribute to the war on terrorism here in Afghanistan.
