455th Air Expeditionary Wing Public Affairs

3/25/2014 - BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan  -- Kandahar Airfield hosts multiple units including the 451st Air Expeditionary Group which is part of the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing based at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.

The 451st AEG is the premier combat remotely piloted aircraft unit in Afghanistan.
The group also includes MC-12W Liberty and E-11A aircraft and controls the aerial port operations on Kandahar.

The slideshow of photos shows some of the typical airfield operations from March 19-20, 2014.
